is flexeril addicting?

Answer:
I am going to counter what another poster said. Flexeril, a muscle relaxant, can be addicting yes. Any medication that one takes for long-term purposes can be addicting because of the tolerance that builds up.Tolerance is when the body requires a higher dose to get the same effect because the initial dose is not enough anymore. Flexeril, because it is a relaxant, can be psychologically addicting, not so much physically addicting. Because it can make you feel relazed and peaceful, there is always the risk of acquiring a psychological addiction if the patient does not take it as prescribed.
No, abrupt cessation of treatment after prolonged administration rarely may produce nausea, headache, and malaise. This indicates that you don't get addicted to it
