its possible, but banned cause it hits ethic principals of a majority of countries on earth.
the advantage would be that you can start selecting specific properties and slowly engineer a superhuman.
the disadvantage is that you reproduce errors too.i think human cloning is one of the many things mankind does not really need.
I just remember the discussion about 'abortion'. and how people get along with that. This leads to the conclusion that we are just too stupid to play god at full scale.
