Is House toast?

Answer:
pretty much..in the real world. He will have his license to prescribe controlled substances revoked (not a death sentence for an Infectious Disease specialist) and will have his medical license suspended for some time. He will also have to submit to periodic random drug tests. BUT.he will get busted again.I've since this scenario played out in real life with docs, nurses, and pharmacists. People that get clean and stay clean are the exception.
No he can't be toast otherwise there wouldn't be a show. I do wonder though how they are going to get rid of that hemorrhoid cop (I don't like him) I think House should have left the thermometer in longer! I really like that character, a bit abrasive at times but always right on.
lets just say the next episode will be interesting...
Isn't that an entertainment question. I think he's pretty crucial to the show.
Of course not, the show is called House. I bet the cop gets sick and House has to figure out what is wrong with him. Maybe how he stays out of jail.
From a pharmacy law prespective, he broke some very serious laws. He had a prescriptive drug without a prescription.
From a TV prespective, he'll find some way out of it and the series will continue.
he'd probably be fired if the show was real
