Is honey scientifically proven to help asthamatics?

I've tried looking in PubMed, but can't find any articles that I could read showing how it might benefit asthmatics, as homeopaths so adamantly argue.
Answer:
Well honey has antigens that come from the pollen of the flower the bees feed from. So it cuts down in allergy's because the body builds an immunity to these things that our body would typically have an allergy to because of the honey.
But the problem with this is you have to find honey from your region or close to as the allergies vary from place to place and certain plants to plants.
So yes it is and I am on my way to get the info for you!
(worked in a lab just need to find sources)

idk but its suppsoe to be very healthy
Not sure, I have heard that it helps. But it can't hurt to try it.
Hey that sounds tough man..but hey i got a similar question answered at http://www.schoolpiggyback.com go there its free to ask and the people answering are experts :)
That should give you a clue right there. With all the theoretically promising treatments that bomb, I wouldn't hold my breath (sorry) waiting for a study on honey, which makes no sense in terms of immune mediation, alterations of inflammatory responses, or bronchodilation. On the other hand, a little honey in the world's strongest cup of tea with its bromoxanthines...
