Is it alright for someone with a mechanical valve to use an electric blanket?
Answer:
electric blankets are fine to use if you've got a prosthetic heart valve. those mechanical heart valves don't have any electrical equipment in them- they're purely mechanical. so there's no risk of interference with electrical equipment of any kind.
A mechanical valve where? In their heart?
