Is it harmful to wear a magnetic earring in your lip?

I have a friend who wears a magnetic earring in her bottom lip so it looks like it's pierced. (She's too afraid to get it pierced) I have mine pierced and I told her it didn't hurt but she won't believe me. She says the magnet works for her. I told her I didn't think it was a good idea because it might rub her teeth but I couldn't think of any other reasons why she shouldn't do it.I've heard about magnetic bracelets people wear that supposedly help them feel better but heart patients are not supposed to wear them. Why is this?
Answer:
Only when kissing a guy with braces.Seriously, I don't think it is harmful. If it was someone would have reported the manufacturer to the better business bureau or something. As for heart patients, it's only dangerous if you have a pacemaker. So go wild and wear as many magnets as you want. They are about as dangerous as cell phones. Wait, don鈥檛 those cause cancer鈥?
Yeah. That kind of jewelry "attracts" other losers...
It's only harmful when you face north.
The magnetism does nothing, either good or bad. Any skin puncture can be a portal for invasion of hostile bacteria, some of which can kill you, so it is nothing to take lightly. Not to mention that in my opinion it looks like s--t.
According to modern medicine no doubt it is harmful. By modern medicine I mean allpathy,as it is called by some people.Modern medicine asks for evidences and then only approves some therapy.Anyway,if you believe in something which I call to be "quack" practise, then I have to say nothing or advise nothing about your querry.
