Is bile the same as bilirubin? Do they have anything to do with each other, or are they totally unrelated?

Answer:
Bile is not bilirubin BUT Bilirubin is one of the many constituents of bile.Bilirubin is the end product of the breakdown of the Haem part of Haemoglobin present in the red blood cells. The Haem breakdown takes place in the liver and is excreted by the liver in the bile .While waiting to be excreted by the liver bilirubin transits via the blood .
no they ae not the same thing bile is made in the gall bladder and is deposited in the stomach to help break down food and bilirubin is in the blood.
Bile is the fluid synthesised by liver in our body.It is secreted by liver cells nd caried by smal ducts frm liver 2 bile ducts to galbladr just below the liver 4 storage. It is poured into the smal intestine whenever we take meals especialy a faty one nd helps in its digestion. It contains bile salts, bile acids, enzymes nd minerals etc.Bilirubin is excreted through the same fluid bile although it is a degradation product of red cels in our blod that have become useles.
Bile, bitter, neutral, or slightly alkaline fluid secreted by the liver and passed through a duct into the gallbladder, where it is stored and, as necessary, released into the duodenum. As formed in the liver, bile is a thin, watery fluid to which the gallbladder adds a mucous secretion, forming a complex thickened and stringy substance consisting of salts and bile salts, proteins, cholesterol, hormones, and enzymes.
Bilirubin is the breakdown product of haemoglobin.
Jaundice is caused by abnormally high levels of bilirubin in the blood because the liver is not removing it as it normally does.
