Is bioperine dangerous, what side effects does it have?

Answer:
Bioperine is a standardized piperine extract obtained from the fruits of the Piper nigrum L. (black pepper) and/or Piper longum L. (long pepper) plants that are cultivated in the damp, nutrient-rich soil regions of south India. The delicate pepper berries are hand harvested just prior to ripening and then sun dried to assure optimum maturity and quality. Mu opinion is that anything organic or homeopathic would not have side effects and is completely healthy.
I could not find anything stating bioperine was dangerous.
But, if you have any concerns, please ask your health care provider, or consider asking a registered pharmacist. However, I found in "About Herbs..."http://www.mskcc.org/mskcc/html/11570.cf...
a number of natural products that are indeed dangerous..For example:
Pokeweed
"Warnings
Significant toxicity results from oral or topical administration of pokeweed. The United States Herb Trade Association recommends that pokeweed not be sold.
topAdverse Reactions
Reported: Nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhea, weakness, hematemesis, hypotension, tachycardia.
Toxicity: Prolonged vomiting, bloody diarrhea, dyspnea, muscle spasms, convulsions, death."Ephedra
The FDA has banned the sales of ephedra-containing dietary supplements. Consumers are urged not to buy or use these products (12) (13). These products have made unsubstantiated claims and may pose significant health risks (6). Possible adverse effects include hypertension, palpitations, heart attack, stroke, seizures, psychosis and death (10).
Licorice
"Licorice should not be consumed by those with renal or liver dysfunction, or women who are pregnant or breast-feeding."Any product, natural, homeopathic, or manufactured is basically made of chemicals..."dangerous" chemicals can occur anywhere, even in nature!
