Is Calcium in the blood dangerous.?

Answer:
Calcium is a natural part of blood but excessive amounts can be extremely dangerous. My wife recently spent two weeks in hospital because her calcium levels were way too high
Calcium is part of blood. Although, too much or too little calcium can be dangerous
There is normally calcium in the blood, so the answer is "no" if the level of calcium is in "normal range". Calcium levels that are too high or too low can lead to muscle contraction problems. The worst case scenerio is heart arrhythmia, as the heart is made up of mostly muscle tissue.
No only if it is too much calcium which may cause:abdominal pain
nausea and vomiting
constipation
loss of appetite
excessive thirst
excessive passing of water
tiredness
weakness
weight loss
Normal calcium levels are 9.0鈥?0.5 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL), which can be higher in kids during periods of growth. You must have calcium for muscle contractions, neurotransmission, bone formation and blood clotting. Levels which are too high, or too low, are dangerous.
every thing within normal not dangerous
but calcium is normally in blood but if it icreased lead to some problems like:
1- renal colic or stones
2-muscle weakness (tetany)
3-abdominal pain
4-also hypertension
5-increase calcium in urine and urinary stones
6-more water intake
7-thirst sensationbut in decreased it lead to:
1-in children lead to rickets
2-in adult lead to bone deformities like bow legs
3-pathological bone fracture due to fragile bone
no...don't think so.a specific amount of calcium is needed in blood for skeletal remodelling.this is taken care by parathormone.but hyperparathyroidism will lead to calcification of kidneys, arteries, lungs and stomach.
Calcium ion is a very important electrolyte in the blood and has numerous beneficial effects for the proper functioning of the body as a wholeIt exists in the blood in a normal concentration range between (9-10.5 mg/dl).Any calcium level too high or too low may be incompatible with life both because of its associated causative factors and its wideranging damaging effects.Calcium in the blood(within nromal range) is not dangerous.
